WHEREAS, An Ordinance, C.F. No. 2�7227 , granting permission
to Union Chemicals Division: Petrochemicat Group, Union Oil Company
of Caiifornia, 1900 East Golf Road, Schaumburg, Illinois to construct,
operate and maintain a railroad track across James Avenue located
approximately 100 feet West of Richmond Avenue, has been prepared
and introduced to the Council of the City of Saint Paul , and will
be adopted on August 20, 1981 , to be effective eventually
on September 28, 1981 ; now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That pending the said Ordinance becoming effective, the
Director of the Department of Public Works is hereby authorized and
directed to issue a permit to Union Chemicals Division: Petrochemicat
Group, Union Oil Company of Catifornia for the construction, operation
and maintenance of said railroad track across James Avenue subject to
the same conditions and requirements as set out in an Ordinance, C.F.
No. 277227 , pending before the Council of the City of Saint Paul ,
informal approvai of the said construction, operation and maintenance
being hereby given in anticipation of the final adoption and approval
of said Ordinance.

to begin construction of a railroad track across James Avenue near Shepard Road
pending the adoption of an Ordinance granting fo nriai approvai for the construction,
operation and maintenance of said crossing.
