3 WHEREAS, Saint Beruard's High School Softball Team has won its seventh State Sportsmanship Award; and
4 WIIEREAS, Saint Bernard's High School Softball Team wonthe Subsection and Regional Championships ; and
5 WHEREAS, Saint Bernard's High Schooi Softball Team has made a record 12 appearances in the State
6 Tournament.
7 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, TFiAT, Saint Bernard's High School Softball Team won their fifth
8 State Championship, in the Year 2000; and
9 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, THAT Saint Bernard's High School So£tball Coach, Gary Lothian, for the past
10 6 yeazs, has instilled in his teams not only an appreciation for the game and the nnportance of teamwork and good
11 sportsmanship, but also an equal appreciation of the value of academics in the life of the well-rounded student
12 athlete;
13 BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, THAT the Saint Paul City Council, in celebration of Saint Bernard's High School
