Nord, Assistant City Attorney RE: Claim of Edward Wilford DATE: July 10, 1981 The street surface in front of the home of Mr. Edward Wilford, 1135 Kennard Street, subsided. The Public Works Department, Sewer Division, concluded that the reason for the subsidence was damaged private sewer connection belonging to Mr. Wilford. He accordingly retained a sewer contractor to dig up the street, but that contractor found no break in the private sewer line. As a result, Mr. Wilford was required to pay a bill of $695.20. The Public Works Department agrees that he sh ould be reimbursed, and this office authorizes settlement in the amount of $695.20. r' , ,; ? ; r , , ; ( G / ,.' ,,,, ,y % - . j'. - - DWN:paw aitach. ` cc.
