Atchison Date: June 24, 1981 Re: Code 09013, 1981 Budget It appears from a review of the 1981 Budget for PERA, Social Security and HRA Pension, that we are facing a 1981 deficit of approximately $100,000 in Code 09013. This deficit resulted from two primary causes: 1) Nothing was budgeted for PERA Police and Fire Pensions and an estimated $48,750 will be needed for Fire Pensions in 1981. 2) An amount of $43,328 was cut from the 1981 budget request by Council.
