RE: Claim against th City of Saint Paul
by Gertrude B. Wq�lff
The plaintiff tripped and fiell over the foot of the barricade
near Sixth and Robert on A�ri1 16, 1980. There was a factual
dispute between the plaint�,ff and the Water Utility employees
working at the job site asito whether or not there was a warning
sign instructing pedestriar�s not to cross at that corner.
The plaintiff injured her I ee and saw her doctor on three
occasions in a two-month period after the fall.
The plaintiff testif ied in deposition that her knee rema.ined
painful for some period of time after the fall.
This office approves settle�nent in the amount of $400.
