WHEREAS, on December 30, 1982 the Council of the City of
St. Paul passed a Resolution, Council File No. 279631, extend-
ing the filing date for cable company proposals from February
1, 1983 to March l, 1983 and the timetable dates subsequent
to February 1, 1983 for four weeks; and
WHEREAS, the Request for Proposals, adopted by Council
Resolution No. 279412, provides, in relevant part, in Section
2.0, lines 3, 4 and 5, page 30, as follows :
"Applications will not be accepted from
companies who have failed to register with
the City at least 30 days before applica-
tions are due.";
and
WHEREAS, at its December 13, 1982 meeting the cable sub-
committee voted to retain the January l, 1983 registration
deadline; and
WHEREAS, there ma.y be confusion as to the deadline for
registering with the City; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of St. Paul hereby
amends the aforementioned Section 2.0 of the Request for
Proposals to read as follows:
"Applications will not be accepted from
companies who have failed to register with
the City a�-�eas�-39-da�e-be�e�e-app��ea��.e�.s-
a�e-dt�.e by January 17, 1983."
