WHEREAS, on October 28 , 1982 the Council of the City of
Saint Paul passed a Resolution, Council File No. 279412 , adopting
a Request for Proposals for a Cable Communication System; and
WHEREAS , the aforementioned Request for Proposals provides ,
in relevant part, as follows :
"Section 1.5 Ownership and Control of the System
. . . The City has established a number of specific
objectives in seeking alternatives to traditional
private sector ownership of their cable communications
system. These objectives are :
. . .to increase the level of control the City can
exercise over the franchisee. . . (emphasis added) .
WHEREAS , it has come to the attention of the City Council
that the underlined words , �che City , in the above quoted section
are a typographical error in that on 5eptember 3, 1982 the Cc�uncil
approved deletion of the words the City and substituted in their
place the word consumer; now, therefore, be it
�:tESOLVED, that the Request for Proposals Providing Cable
Com:t�lunications Services to the City of 5t. Paul, Minnesota,
Section 1.5 , page 8, lines 3 and 4 is hereby amended to read as
follows :
" . . .to increase the level of control tl�e E�tp
consumers can exercise over the franchisee. . . "
