THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORD�IDT: Section l. The Planning Conunission and District 16 Planning Council have initiated a study of the adoption af an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan, Di�trict Plan, which study includes a portion of Grand Avenue. The Council has been adv�sed that errors exist on some of the zoning maps for a portion of Grand Avenue. The Council has adopted a resolution directing the Planning Commission to make a complete study of the existing land uses and zoning classifi- cations along Grand Avenue from Dale Street to the Short Line rail- road tracks for the purpose of recommending any ar�endments necessary to the City's Comprehensive Plan ana zoning regulations . Section 2 . Pending the completion of the studies and the adoption of necessary amendments to th ��t 's Comprehensive Plan and zoning regulations, not to exceed � from the date of this ordinance, the Building Official is hereby directed to not issue any building permits, other than permits for repair of or alteration of presently existing structures, which repairs or alterations do not change the existing use of such structure, for properties on Grand Avenue, which properties are contained �vithin the area defined by Dale Street to the east, the alley between Grand Avenue and Summit Avenue to the north, the 5hort Line railroad tracks to the west and the alley between Grand Avenue and Lincoln Avenue to the south. Section 3 . This ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty (30) days frorn and after its passage, approval and publication.
