MF�IORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
This Memorandum of Understanding pertains to the Classified Confidential
Supervisory Employees.
1. Except as herein modified the 1981-1982-1983 Memorandum of Understanding
approved on November 20, 1981 and published on November 28, 1981 under
Council File No. 277690 shall be the basis of the forthcoming Memorandum
of Understanding.
2. Item 3.12 of said Understanding shall be replaced with Item 3.12
which is attached hereto and made a part hereof.
3. Item 3.14 of said Understanding shall be replaced with Item 3.14 which
is attached hereto and made a part hereof.

3.12 Effective October 1, 1982, the Employer's contributien toward
dependent coverage in Articles 3.4 thru 3.8 will be adjusted in
dollars to reflect an increase of seventy-five percent (75%) of
the difference between the October 1, 1982 premiums and the
October 1, 1981 premiums tor the respective dependent's coverages.
In the eveat that the October 1, 1982 preAium for dependent coverage
does not exceed $120 per month, no adjustment shall be made in the
Employer's contribution tocaard dependent coverage.

3.14 Effective October 1, 1983, the October 1, I982 Employer•s contri-
butions toward dependent's coverages in Articles 3.4 thru 3.$ will.

PURPOS AND RATIONALE FOR THIS ACTION
This r solution amends t1�.e 1982-1g83-1984 Memorandum of Understanding pertaining
to the lassified Confidenia.al Supervisory Employees. This amendment corrects the
langua e in the item pertai.ning to the adjustment in the Employer's contributi.on toward
Depen nt Insurance in October, 1982. This is the same correction that is being xnade
in t�1ie 982-1983-1984 Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City of St. Paul and
th.e St. Pau1 Supe rvi sors Organization.
