RE: Claim against the City of Saint Paul
by Kathryn M. Lawler
On August 21, 1979, Kathryn Lawler was a passenger in an MTC
bus which was struck by a St. Paul city garbage truck. At a
previous trial it was determined that the City was 100% liable.
Ms . Lawler suffered a fracture of the left scapula, four broken
ribs and a contusion to the heart. She has continued to have
difficulties as a result of these injuries and her physicians
were going to testify that she has a permanent disability.
We ha.ve agreed to settle the case for $22 ,500.
