WHEREAS, the State Community Health Services Committee was
established to advise, consult with, and make recommendations
to the State Commissioner of Health on matters relating to the
development, maintenance, funding and evaluation of community
health services and
WHEREAS, it is extremely important that the metropolitan area
boards of health and especially Saint Paul have elected officials
as official representatives on the State Community Health Services
Committee wherever possible, now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that Councilman James Scheibel, who is presently a
member of the Ramsey County Community Health Services Advisory
Committee, be appointed as the official Saint Paul City Council
(Boaxd of Health) representative on the State Community Health
Services Committee. Councilman Scheibel will serve for a two-
year pexiod effective immediately and be it further
RESOLVED, that William Timm, Public Health Administration,
continue in his role as alternate to Councilman James Scheibel
on said Committee.
