Claimant, James E. Lindell, requests the reimbursement of the
money he paid to get his automobile out of the Saint Paul Impound
Lot. Mr. Lindell 's vehicle was towed on September 6 , 1982 , when
it was parked in a no parking zone on the Midway Parking Service
Drive. Upon checking the area, it was found that several no park-
ing signs were missing and Mr. Lindell was unaware that the area
was posted for no parking. This office approves the settlement
of Mr. Lindell 's claim in the amount of $43.00 .
Claimant, Richard Emer, requests reimbursement for damages to
his automobile which were incurred as a result of an accident
with a City of Saint Paul, Department of Fire and Safety Services

On July 25, 1982, claimant, Karen Mergens , parked her vehicle
near Concord and State Streets . While parking her vehicle, she
struck a curb iron which was sticking out from the curb about
12 to 2 feet. This iron punctured her tire and damaged it in
the amoutn of $54 .64. This office approves the settlement of
Ms . Mergens ' claim in the amount of $54 .64 .
On June 3 , 1982 , claimant, Betty L. Chadwick, locked her keys in
