In the matter of the agplication
submitted by J. William Donovan on behalf
of the City of Saint Paul for the abate-
ment of real estate taxes and assessments
per County Auditor' s Report No. 1965
relating to 292 Goodhue St.
WHEREAS, J. William Donovan, Valuation and Assessment Engineer for
the City of Saint Paul, did file an application identified as County
Auditor' s Report No. 1965 with the Board of Commissioners of Ramsey
County and the Commissioner of Revenue for the State of Minnesota to
have special assessments for street maintenance and real estate taxes
imposed on 292 Goodhue Street abated for the last. half of taxes for
1981; and
WHEREAS, The application reflects that on September 15, 1981, the
City formally authorized the subject property to be acquired by con-
demnation and therefore 292 Goodhue should be exempted from any taxes for
the last half of 1981; and
WHEREAS, The Ramsey County Department of Taxation has recommended abate-
ment of assessments as indicated by its September 9, 1982 letter to the
City Clerk.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of
Saint Paul does hereby approve the above-mentioned application of
J. William Donovan for the abatement of assessments and taxes as fully
set forth in said application.
