RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby
authorizes and directs the proper City officials to execute an
agreement with the County of Ramsey and West 5ide Community Health
Center, Inc. , whereby the City and County will assist in its
functioning as a neighborhood health center in ca�ing �or the medical-
health needs of the citizens of the city and county in the adjacent
geographic area; the City will contribute up to $45,430 for the
calendar year 1982; said agreement will expa.re December 31, 1982.

PURPOSE AND RATIONALE FOR THIS ACTION: _
Since 1974, the City has provided financial support to West Side Community
Health Center, Inc.
FINANCIAL IMPACT :
West `Side Community Health Center, Inc, wiJl receive up to $45,430 from the City.
Upon written notice, the City may reduce the funding level or terminate the Agxee-
ment. The County wil) also contribute; however, the City and County no longer
need to match contributions.
