WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul Is acttvely tnvolved with Set-Aside business assistance
and revitaltzation programs,
WHEREAS, the City has a stro�g commttment towards assisting Set-As(de businesses,
particularly those owned and operated by soctally and economically deprived
indlvlduals, through the Set-Aside Program�
WHEREAS, the Mtnnesota Department of Energy, Planning and Develop�nt has announced _
the availability of a one-year grant to flnance business advtsory services,
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul could provide these services wlth existtng staff and
physical resources,
RESOLVED, that the Counctl of the City of Saint Paul does hereby approve the filing
of the Appllcation for this Business Advtsory Services Grant�, to the Minnesota
Department of Energy, Ptanning and Development, and be It
FURTHER RESOLVED, that Mayor George Latimer, as Chief Executive Office of the City�
is hereby authorized and dtrected to file said application, and to execute and
submit to the Mlnnesota Department of Energy, Planning and Development any
assurances, certifications or addltional lnformation as may be required by
statute and regulations, and to execute such agreements as may be required for award
