WHEREAS, the Capital Area Architectural and Planning
Board has experienced difficulty with the Land Commissioners
Office, Ramsey County, respecting conveyance of certain tax
forfeit land in the Capital Area identified for redevelopment
activity to be carried out by City' s Housing and Redevelopment
Authority; and
WHEREAS, the Legislation Committee of the City Council
has reviewed and discussed the proposal of the Board to amend
its statute pertaining to release of tax forfeit property,
now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the City Council supports legislation
amending Minnesota 5tatutes Section 15.50 Subdivision 6
relating to tax forfeit property in the Capital Area.
