RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a release in full
to the City, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, the
proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay
out of the Tort Liability Fund 09070-511-000 , to:
l. James J. Isaacs the sum of $83. 34 in full settlement of his
claim of damages sustained on or about September 26 , 1981,
as more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in
the City Clerk 's office on October 2 , 1981.
2. Ellen K. McGee and Travelers Insurance Company the sum of
$227.52 in full settlement of their claim of damages sustained
on or about August 20, 1981, as more particularly set out in
the Notice of Claim filed in the City Clerk 's office on
November 24 , 1981.
3. Ora A. Currier the sum of $473.99 in full settlement of his
claim of damages sustained on or about November 26 , 1981,
as more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in
the City Clerk 's office on December 7 , 1981.
4 . Mark A. Ellis the sum of $66 .00 in full settlement of his
cl.aim of damages sustained on or about October 9 , 1981, as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in
the City Clerk 's office on October 30 , 1981.

CLAIMS AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL BY
JAMES J. ISAACS ; ELLEN K. McGEE AND
TRAVELERS INSURANCE COMPANY; ORA A.
CURRIER; and MARK A. ELLIS
Claimant, James J. Isaacs , requests reimbursement for damages to
his automobile which occurred on September 26 , 1981 , when he
drove over a manhole cover near East Minnehaha and White Bear
Avenue. We had a lot of rain at the time and the pressure caused
the manhole cover to blow. This office approves the settlement
of Mr. Issacs ' claim in the amount of $83 . 34 .
Claimant, Ellen K. McGee, was involved in an automobile accident
with a City of Saint Paul , Department of Community Services ,
Division of Health, vehicle on August 20 , 1981 . The City vehicle
v�as being driven by Asie L. Sangster. AZs . McGee is insured by
Travelers Insurance Company and they have a subrogated interest
in this claim. Expenses are for the repair of the damaged
vehicle. This office approves the settlement of their claim in
t�1e amount of $227. 52 .
Claimant, Ora A. Currier, was involved in an automobile accident
with a City of 5aint Paul , Department of Police, vehicle on
November 26 , 1981. Driver of the City squad was Officer Richard Je
Gardell. Expenses are for the repair of the damaged vehcile.
This office approves the settlement of Mr. Currier' s claim in the
amount of $473.99 .
Claimant, Mark A. Ellis , requests reimbursement for the loss of
his gun barrel which was destroyed by the City of Saint Paul ,
Department of Police. The gun barrel was taken from Mr. Ellis '
hom on October 9 , 1981, when they were called to the house by
his mother because of problems he was having with his brother.
This office approves the settlement of Mr. Ellis ' claim in the
amount of $66 .00 .
