WHEREAS, Education of our children is vital to our future; and
WHEREAS, Tourism is a billion dollar industry in the State of
P�linnesota; and
WHEREAS, The railroads are a major factor in the economy of Saint
Paul ; and
WHEREAS, The Minnesota Transportation Museum, Minnesota Historical
Society and Ramsey County Historical Society provide invaluable educational
and recreational opportunities to the City of Saint Paul and State of
Minnesata; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the City of Saint Paul , the home of railroading in
Minnesota, supports a permanent home for the Minnesota Transportation
Museum in Saint Paul in conjunction with the Minnesota Historical Society
and the Ramsey County Historical Society.
