RESOLVED, that the Civil Service Rules be amended in Section 3. J by

20, and by adding at the bottom of the page the following statement:
"This title i.n this grade is abolished except as to present incumbents. ";
and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Civil Service Rules be further amended in
Section 3. K by inserting the title of Real Estate Supervisor in Grade 15; and be it
FINALLY RE50LVED, that the Civil Service Rules be further amended in
Section 32 by striking out the class specification for Real Estate Supervisor and
substituting in lieu thereof the attached class specification for Real Estate Supervisor.

General Statement of Duties: Performs the admin.istrative and supervisory
work involved in the direction of the real estate, relocation and
property management operation; solicits developers and negotiates the
sale of real estate; and performs related duties as required.
Supervision Received: Works under the administrative direction of the
division head.
Supervision Exercised: Exercises within the unit administrative and �
technical direction over technical, clerical and other assigned personnel.
TYPICAL DUTIES PERFORMED
The listed examples may not include all duties performed by all positions in
this class.
Directs the implementation of real estate, relocation and property
management and maintenance programs.
Participates in the formulation and supervises the implementation of real
estate, relocation and property management goals, objectives, policies
and procedures.
Negotiates or supervises the negotiation of real estate transactions; both
acquisition and disposition.
Supervises relocation staff; directs the preparation of relocation plans
that meet standards; estimates relocation costs.
Negotiates and administers agreements with other agencies for the provision
of relocation services and for services necessary to maintaining land
and structures possessed by P.E.D./H.R.A.
Negotiates leases for P.E.D./H.R.A. owned property.
Provides information and technical support to developers, the public and

PURPOSE AND RATIONALE FOR THTS ACTION
This Resolution double-stars (�� abolishing this title in this grade except as
to present incumbents) the title of R.ea� Estate Supervisor in Grade 20 of Section
3. J �Professional-Administrati.ve i�ton-Supervisors Group), and inserts this ti.tle
in Grade 15 of Section 3.K {ProfessionaJ.-Administrative �upervisors Group) i.n
the Civil Service Rules.
It also replaces the class specification for Real Estate Supervisor with a new class
specification.
The bi-weekly salary ranges involved are as follows:
