RESOLVED, that the Civil Service Rules be amended in Section
3. K by striking from Grade 25 the title of Purchasing Agent and inserting
this title in Grade 27; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Civil Service Rules be further
amended by striking from Section 32 the class specification for the title
of Purchasing Agent and substituting in lieu thereof the attached class

We recommend your approval and submission of this Resolution to the City Council.
PURPOSE AND RATIONALE FOR THIS ACTTON
This Resolution changes the grade of Purchasing Agent in Section 3.K (Professional
Administratzve Supervisors Groupj from its present Grade 25 to Grade 27. It also
replaces the current class specification with a revised specification in Section 32 of
the Givil Service Rules.
The bi-weekly salary ranges for grades 25 and 27 are shown below:
