Supervision Received: Works under the general technical and administra- tive direction of a unit head; receives medical supervision from clinic physicians and the Program Medical Director. Supervision Exercised: May exercise technical supervision over lower level nurses, paraprofessionals, and volunteer workers as assigned. ' TYPICAL DUTIES PERFORMED The listed examples may not include all duties performed by a11 position.s in this class. Examines and treats patients within practice parameters. Develops and implements an ongoing patient care plan. Provides comprehensive medical follow-up and referral at practitioner leval. Mainta.ins accurate patient records, as well as statistical data. Functions as clinic team manager. Assists in the provision of pregnancy counseling. � Presents educational programs for patients, staff, other health care pro- fessionals and community groups.
