To acquire right-of-way to widen and extend SIBLEY-JACKSON SWITCfiBACK (CITY
PROJECT P-0582BR1) in the block bounded by East Eighth Street, East Seventh
Street, Jackson S�reet and Sibley Street. Also in the block bounded by East
Eighth Street, East Seventh Street, Sibley Street and Wacouta Street described
as follows:
Parts of Lots 9, I0, 11, 12 and 15 of Mayall's Subdivision of Block One
of Whitney & Smith's addition and of Block Seventeen of Robert and Randall's
addition to the City of St. Paul lying northerly of a line described as
follows:
Commencing at the northwesterly corner of said Block One (1) ; thence
northeasterly along the northwesterly line of said Block One (1) ,
forty-nine and eighty-one hundredths (49.81) feet to the point of
beginning of the line to be described; thence deflecting to ttie right
fourteen (14) degrees, thirty-three (33) minutes, fifty-five (55)
seconds, two hundred and six (206.00) feet; thence easterly on a
tangential curve concave to tne south having a radius of one hundred
and two (102.00) feet, a central angle of twenty-three (23) degrees,
forty-four (44) minutes, seven (7) seconds, an arc length oi forty-two
and twenty-five hundredths (42.25) feet more or less to a point on a line
seventy-five and twenty hundredths (75.20) feet southwesterly of and
parallel to northeasterly line of said Block 1, and there terminating.
Excepting those parts of said lots opened under City of Saint Paul
Council File No. 37065, approved on October 21, 1930.
That part of Lots Five (5) , Six (6) , Seven (7) and Eight (8) , Block
Two (2) , Whitney and Smith's Addition lying southerly of a line described
as follows: Beginning at the intersection of a line one hundred six
(106.00) feet northwesterly of and parallel to the southeasterly line
of East Seventh Street and the northeasterly line of said Block Two (2) ;
thence southwesterly along said parallel line to a point ninety six and
eighty three hundredths (96.83) feet northeasterly of the southwesterly
line of said Block 'Itro (2) as measured along said parallel line; thence
on tangential curve concave to the north having a radius of one hundred
fourteen (114.00) feet, a central angle of fifty-eiqht (58) degrees,
fourteen (14) minutes, thirteen (13) seconds, for an arc distance of
one hundred fifteen and eighty-seven hundredths (115.87) feet, more or
less to the southwesterly line of said Block Two (2) and there
terminating.
