Supervision Required: Works under the general supervision of the Town Square Park Manager. Supervision Exercised: May exercise immediate technical supervision over clerical employees and/or interns. TYPICAL DUTIES PERFORMED The listed examples may not include all duties performed by all positions in this class. Provides information to potential clients relative to the rental of Town Square Park for special events and promotes use of the Park for rental functions. Negotiates fees, services and special arrangements for rental events consistent with rules and regulations. Prepares and submits park rental contracts for approval. Arranges and directs special services and personnel for rental events such as security, coat checking, and special sound and lighting effects and furniture arrangement; advises clients as to availability of caterers, musicians, etc. , Attends or schedules a representative to attend special events to assist renters, to respond to emergency situations and to monitor cash bar receipts. Computes total rental.charges, Town Square Park expenses and profit or loss for each event, maintains financial records and prepares reports as required.
