BROWN, GLADYS A. THESENVITZ , AND LESLIE SNETTING Claimant, Julitta Daugherty, requests reimbursement for medical bills incurred as a result of a fall at the Riverview Library. Mrs . Daugherty fell due to a tear in the carpet covering some entryway steps at the Riverview Library . The City was on notice of the tear for some time prior to this incident but didn't re- place the carpet till after the fall . This office approves the settlement of Mrs . Daugherty 's claim in the amount of $1 ,080 .00 . Claimant, Larry E. Brown, was involved in an automobile accident on May 15, 1979 , with a City of Saint Paul, Department of Public Works , vehicle. Our driver, Joseph Zaccardi , was driving the City vehicle which made a right turn from Carroll onto Milton and came to close to Mr. Brown' s legally parked vehicle and struck it. Expenses are for the repair of the damaged vehicle . This office approves the settlement of Mr. Brown 's claim in the amount of $250 .00 . Claimant, Gladys A. Thesenvitz , was involved in an automobile accident with a City of Saint Paul, Department of Fire and Safety Services , vehicle on January 15, 1982 . Our driver, Keith Johnson, was driving our fire vehicle as it slid down a hill near Earl and Third Streets , and entered the intersection on a red light, unable to stop because of the icy road conditions and struck the Thesenvitz vehicle that entered the intersection on a green light and was trying to get out of our fire truck 's path when the impact occurred. Expenses are forthe repair of the damaged vehicle . This office approves the settlement of Ms . Thesenvitz ' claim in the amount of $175 .00 . Claimant, Leslie Snetting, was involved in an automobile accident with a City of Saint Paul, Department. of Fire and Safety Services , vehicle on December 23 , 1981. Our driver, Robert Mems , made a sharp right turn onto Seventh Street from Robert and the rear end of the fire vehicle struck Mr. Snetting 's vehicle which was stopped in the center lane of Robert 5treet. Our driver thought he could clear Mr. Snetting 's vehicle as he made the turn but was unable to do so. Expenses are for the repair of the damaged vehicle. This office approves the settlement of Mr. Snetting's claim in the amount of $262 . 76 . ����
