RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Saint Paul that
Article XXV, Chapter 523, Laws of Minnesota for 1982, approved
the 22nd day of l�Zarch 1982, relating to the establishment of a
hotel and motel tax, authorizing issuance of obligations in an
amount not to exceed $4, 000, 000.00 for the purpose of repairing
the Civic Center Parking Ramp, and pertaining to the leasing of
the operation of the Civic Center complex, a certified copy of
which is filed herewith, shall be and said Article is in all
things approved; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Clerk, as the chief clerical
officer of the City of Saint Paul, shall forthwith file with the
Secretary of State a certificate in form prescribed by the Attorney
General stating the essential facts necessary to said approval of
said act hereunder and including a copy of this resolution of
approval of said act.

Laws of Minnesota for 1982� pertaining to hotel tax, bonding, lease
of civic center requires local approval before it becomes effeetive. f
If action is taken by resolution to approve the legislation, I am
prepared to file the necessary certificate with the Secretary of
State.
Apparently, this is the only 1982 Legislation requiring local
approval, according to the Secretary of State.
