RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA,
APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF AN APPLICATION FOR AN
URBAN DEVELOPMENT ACTION GRANT FOR THE UNION DEPOT PLACE UDAG.
WHEREAS, Saint Paul is eligible for grant assistance under the Urban Development
Action Grant (UDAG) of the Community Development Act of 1977; and ,
WHEREAS, the Union Depot Place Project UDAG has been reviewed and recommended for
approval by the Planning Commission; and,
4JHEREAS, the required public hearings upon said application have been held;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul does
hereby approve the filing of the Application for an Urban Development Action Grant
for the Union Depot Place and the activities therein proposed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Mayor George Latimer, as Chief Executive
Officerof the City, is hereby authorized and directed to submit said Urban Develop-
ment Action Grant Application to the Department of Housing and Urban Development in
such form as prescribed by the regulations of said Department;
AND BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that the P�ayor or his designated representative is
further authorized to execute and submit to the U.S. Department of Housing and
Urban Development any assurances, certifications or additional information that may
be required by said Department during their review of the City's Urban Development
Action Grant and Application for Federal Assistance.
