RESOLVED, that the Civil Service Rules be amended by striking
from Section 32 the class specification for the title of Traator
Operator I, and by substituting in lieu thereof, the attached class
specification for the title of Tractor Operator I.

Duties and responsibilities:

Under supervision, to drive loaders up to and including 1 cubic yard,
tractors with power take-off 50 h.p. or less for the Public Work�
Departmeat, Water Utility or the Board of Education; and to perform
related work as assigned.
Examples of work performed:
To operate a Melrose loader or similar equipment for loading earth, sn:ow,
Iea.ves, and cinders.
To operate front end loaders with bucket capacity up to and including
1 cubic yard.
To operate farm tractor with power take-off 50 h.p. or less.
To perform routine maintenar.ce, cleaning, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
Forty hours of officially recognized training or six months' experience
on this type of equipment. (Experience on the job will not count for
training.}_ Must have a valid Class "B" Minnesota driver�s license.
The hours of training and experience must be available to employees
i.n the order of seniority in titles in the order listed below.
1. Heavy Equipment Operator or related title.
2. All other laboring titles assigned to crews, i.e. , Truck
Driver, Laborer, Groundsworker, Ditch Digger, etc.
