WHEREAS, The Ramsey Hospital facility is jointly owned by
the City of Saint Paul and the County of Ramsey; and
WHEREAS, The City and County agree that Ramsey Hospital
should contract with District Heating Development Company, a
Minnesota nonprofit corporation, so as to heat the hos�ital
facility with hot water heating; and
WHEREAS, It is proposed that the City and County �gree to
pay for the cost to be incurred in canverting the hospaital
facility's present heating system so as to be compatible with
the proposed hot water heating from District Heating Development
Company; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul does
hereby agree to provide the City' s proportionate 27-1/2� share of
the cost of converting the Ramsey Hospital heating syste�n so as
to receive hot water heating from the District Heating Development
Company, and the proper City officers are authorized to execute
the necessary agreements to carry out this intent.
