RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a release in full
to the City, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney , the
proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay
out of the Tort Liability Fund 09070-511-000 , to:
1. Robert Kost and Patricia Kost the sum of $293.56 in full
settlement of their claim of damages sustained on or about
August 6 , 1982 as more particularly set out in the Notice
of Claim filed in the City Clerk 's office on August 17 , 1982 .
2 . State Farm Insurance the sum of $300 .00 in full settlement
of tis claim of damages sustained on or about February 24, 1982 ,
as a result of injuries to Hildegard Rose Spock, as more
particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in the
City Clerk's office on April 24, 1982 .

M E M O R A N D U M
CLAIMS AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL

and STATE FARl�4 INSURANCE
On August 6 , 1982 , a Saint Paul Police vehicle driven by Gerald
Dexter was distracted while parking our vehicle and it sideswiped
a legally parked vehicle on Mt. Curve Boulevard. The parked
vehicle was owned by claimants , Mr. and Mrs . Robert Kost, and
the damage to their vehicle was in the amount of $293 .56 . This
office approves the settlement of Mr. and Mrs. Kost 's claim in
the amount of $293 .56 .
On February 24 , 1982 , Hildegard Rose Spock fell on the sidewalk
adjacent to and in front of 848-856 Englewood, Victoria Apartments .
In order to simplify and speed the settlement of Mrs . Spock 's claim,
State Farm Insurance, insurer for the Victoria Apartments , handled
the settlement for the Victoria Apartments and the City of Saint Pau1 .
The total settlement was for $600 .00 . The City 's portion of the
settlement cost is $300 .00 , one-half the amount paid to Mrs . Spock.
This office approves the settlement of State Farm Insurance 's claim
in the amount of $300 .00 .
