279238 �NHITE - C�TV GLERK (i BL�UE - MAYORE GITY OF SAINT PAUL F1eci1N0. ����� GANARV - DEPARTMENT City Attny/PBB o ncil Resolution Presented By Referred To Committee: Date Out of Committee By Date WHEREA5, the Joint Courthouse and City Hall Commission has reviewed and studied various alternative plans to provide better pedestrian and/or skyway access to the City Hall and Courthouse for persons using its public facilities; and WHEREAS, the Joint Courthouse and City Hall Commission has approved Plan C because it provides the most feasible and useful public access to City Hall, and is architecturally sound and will not destroy the beauty or the integrity of the Courthouse building; and WHEREAS, the expenditure of public funds by the Port Authority of the City of Saint Paul will benefit the public and community at large, and will achieve a public purpose; and WHEREAS, the Joint Courthouse and City Hall Commission has recommended that the City Council and County Board approve said Plan C and take all necessary action to implement its provisions; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul accepts the recommendation of the Joint Courthouse and City Hall Commission and hereby approves Plan C, and recommends the Mayor instruct all appropriate city officials to take the necessary steps to imple- ment the provisions of Plan C in accordance with its terms.
