RE: Commodore Hotel Fire & Explosion Cases
Most of the claims arising out of the Commodore Hotel fire on
February 15, 1978 have been settled. Two that remain are the
claims of Judith McKloskey and Howard Belmont. Pursuant to the
ruling of the Court, the City is responsible for 10% of the
total amount of each claim. The City' s 10% share of these two
claims is $75.45 for McKloskey for auto damage and $300 for
Belmont' s damage to personal property in his Commodore Hotel
Apartment No. 611.
Northern States Power Company has settled these claims so that
the draft from the City for its 10% share should be ma.de payable
to Northern States Power Company.
