WHEREAS, the Legislation Committee has considered a proposed
City Bill relating to the Civic Center entitled:
"A bill for an act relating to the city of
5aint Paul; authorizing the issuance of
bonds to provicle funds to repair, remodel,
construct or reconstruct-the civic center
facilities; authorizing�axes and�lease of
the civic center facilities; amending Laws
1969, Chapter 1138, Section 3. "
now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the City Council supports legislation
authorizing repair and improvement of the Civic Center facilities,
and the issuance of_ bonds, imposition of taxes and lease for
operation of thQ facilities to finance said repair and improvement.
