WHEREAS the Commissioner of the Department of Transportation
has prepared a preliminary layout for the improvement of a part of
Trunk Highway Number 393 renumbered as Trunk Highway No. 94 within
the corporate limits of the City of St. Paul from Louis-Marion St.
to Mounds Blvd. ; and seeks the approval thereof, and
WHEREAS said preliminary layouts are on file in the Office
of the Department of Transportation, Saint Paul, Minnesota, being
marked, labeled, and identified as Layout No. 2A S.P. 6283-112
(94=392) from Louis-Marion St. to Mounds Blvd.
NOW, THEN, BE IT RESOLVED that said preliminary layouts for
the improvement of said Trunk Highway with the corporate limits
be and hereby are approved.

Mn/DOT has developed a preliminary plan to reconstruct t�he Sixth St.
Bridges, and so called "Spaghetti Junction'r of I-94 and 35-E north-
east of the loop. This plan provides 3 continuous main line lanes
from Mounds Blvd. to Marion St.
No work is proposed in the common section and these plans ensure com-
patability with either a direct or indirect connection of 35-E depending
on eventual I-35E decisions.

This project will be funded with Federal and State transportation
- funds. If design appreval and funding are available, constructi�
