WHEREAS, Saint Paul Legislative Code § 376.17(c) requires new applicants for a
taxicab driver's license to successfixlly complete a taxicab driver training course as a prerequisite
for licensure; and
WHEREAS, § 37617(d) permits an applicant to obtain a provisional operator license
which authorizes the driver to operate until the first available opening in a training class, at
which time the applicant must enroll in and successfully complete the class; and
WHEREAS, Michael Anthony Robertson was issued a provisional operator license by
the Office of LIEP and was notified of the taxicab driver training course to begin on Februaiy 14,
2000, but failed to appear for the classes; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the provisional operator license (license ID# 19990006418) issued to
Michael Anthony Robertson is hereby revoked for failure to enroll in and successfully complete
the required taxicab driver training course.
