THOELE AND JOHN P . MALDONADO Claimant, James R. Thoele, requests reimbursement for veterinarian bills incurred when his dog ate a pigeon which Mr. Thoele claims was poisoned by the City personnel . There is a very high probabil- ity that the pigeon which was eaten by Mr. Thoele 's dog was one poisoned by the City. The City split the difference of the vet bill because it was felt each party was negligent and in the same degree responsibile. This office approves the settlement of Mr. Thoele 's claim in the amount of $45 . 75 . Claimant, John P. Maldonado, requests reimbursement for damages to his automobile. A piece of steel side molding had been damaged on the Public Works Dale Street Garage in a previous accident. This molding was not repaired and on January 27 , 1982 , it blew off and struck Mr. Maldonado 's vehicle which was parked on the City 's lot.
