RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a release in full
to the City, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, the
proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay
out of the Tort Liability Fund 09070-511-000 , to:
1 . Patrick M. Vaughan the sum of $199 .24 in full settlement of
his claim of damages sustained on or about January 22 , 1982 ,
as more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim fi:led in
the City Clerk 's office on February 10 , 1982.
2 . Farmers Insurance Group and Judith McBrayer the sum of
$1,655 .65 in full settlement of their claim of damages
sustained on or about December 30 , 1981, as more particularly
set out in the Notice of Claim filed in the City Clerk's
office on January 22, 1982 .
3. Ralph J. Dolan the sum of $516 .78 in full settlement of his
claim of damages sustained on or about January 23, 1982, as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in
the City Clerk 's office on March 3, 1982 .
4. Mi.chael 5. DiSanto the sum of $35Q .00 in full settlement of
his claim of damages sustained on or a.I�out February 3, 1982,
as more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in
the City Clerk's office on February 18 , 1982.
5. Bonnie Reed the sum of $80 .00 in full settlement of her claim
of damages sustained on or about September 28, 1981, as more
particularly set out in the Notice of Calim filed in the
City Clerk's office on February 4 , 1982 .

CLAIMS AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY PATRICK M. VAUGHAN; FARMERS INSURANCE
GROUP AND JUDITH McBRAYER; RALPH J. DOLAN;
MICHAEL S . DiSANTO; and BONNIE REED
Claimant, Patrick M. Vaughan, requests reimbursement for damages
to his autonobile sustained on January 22 , 1982 , near 1038 Ross .
Firefighter Jerry Dey was clearing the driveway in front of
Fire Station No. 7 . He put the snow blower into neutral and
entered the station to get a shovel to help a stuck driver. The
blower jumped gears and hit Mr. Vaughan' s vehicle. This office
approves the settlement of Mr. Vaughan 's claim in the amount of
$199 . 24 .
Claimant�, Farmers Insurance Group and Judith McBrayer, request
reimbursement for damages to Ms . McBrayer 's automobile which was
involved in an accident with a City of Saint Paul, Department of
Community Services , Division of Parks and Recreation, vehicle on
December 30 , 1981 . Driver of the City vehicle, John Kerbel,
attempte:� to stop at a four way stop but hit a patch of glare ice
and continued through the stop sign. The truck then veered to
the right and struck the McBrayer vehicle which was stopped at
the four way stop. Expenses are for the repair of the damaged
vehicle. This office approves the settlement of their claim in
the amount of $1,655 .65.
Claimant, Ralph J. Dolan, was involved in an automobile accident
with a City of Saint Paul, Department of Public Works , vehicle on
January 23, 1982 . Our driver, Roger Gruber, was southbound on
Snell.ing Avenue and made a left turn in front of a vehicle owned
by Ralph Dolan, which was also southbound on Snelling. Our driver
;aas unable to see the Dolan vehicle because of the blizzare con-
rai�ions . Expenses are for the repair of the damaged vehicle .
'T�:iis office approves the settlement of Mr. Dolan's claim in the
amount of $516 . 78 .

Claimant, Michael S . DiSanto, was involved in an automobile
accident with a City of Saint Paul, Department of Public Works ,
vehicle on February 3, 1982 . Our driver, D2ichael Olson, was
plowing Saratoga Street on February 3 , 1982 , when his plow popped
up and hit DZichael DiSanto's legally parked vehicle . Expenses
are for the repair of the damaged vehicle . This office approves
the settlement of Mr. DiSanto 's claim in the amount of $350 .00 .
Claimant, Bonnie Reed, requests reimbursement for damages to
her automobile sustained on September 28 , 1981 . The City of
Saint Paul 's Traffic O�erations Division painted stop lines at
White Bear Avenue and I-94 on September 28 , 1981. Claimant,
Bonnie Reed, drove her vehicle as directed onto a traffic lane
where wet paint splashed on her car. Eighty Doll:�rs is the amount
of damage sustained to Ms . Reed's vehicle . This office approves
the settlement of Ms . Reed's claim in the amount of $80 .00 .
