The transfer of these con- tainers from trucks- to SOO Line railroad cars has recently been relocated from St. Paul to Minneapolis, increasing their transpor- tation costs. Therefore, they have requested permission to attach 2 trailers to 1 power unit to transport these containers. It is anticipated that there aould be 3-5 combination vehicle trips daily. The containers are shorter than semi-trailers, so the overall length would be less than conventional combination vehicles. FIN.NCIAL IMPACT: None ATACIIIfi1T: Resolution Truck Route Map . cc: Tom Putschaegle 3M Distribution Center DEN:RHR:DDT:kaj
