RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a release in full
to the City, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, the
proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay
out of the Tort Liability Fund 09070-511-000 , to:
l. Gerald A. Kern the sum of $576 .05 in full settlement of his
claim of damages sustained on or about February 3, 1982 , as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in
the City Clerk's office on February 22, 1982 .
2 . MSI Insurance and Terry Jamison the sum of $1,010 .00 in full
settlement of their claim of damages sustained on or about
July 3, 1981, as more particularly set out in the Notice of
Claim filed in the City Clerk's office on December 11, 1981.

M E M O R A N D U M
('uLAIMS AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY GERALD A. KERN; and MSI INSURANCE
AND TERRY JAMISON
Claimant, Gerald A. Kern, was involved in an automobile accident
with a City of Saint Paul, Department of Public Works , vehicle on
February 3, 1982 . Our driver, Michael O].son, was plowing Saratoga
Street and. the plow dug into the street causing it to pop up and
hit Mr. Kern 's vehicle, which was legally parked on Saratoga.
This office approves the settlement of Mr. Kern's claim in the
amount of $576 .05 .
Claimants , MSI Insurance and Terry Jamison, request reimbursement
for damages to a gas pump owned by Mr. Jamison which was damaged
by a City of Saint Paul, Department of Police, vehicle. Our
driver, Officer Timothy Hayes , was backing up the squad attempting
to leave the parking area at 617 Stryker when he backed into a
diesel fuel pump. Claimants are asking for damages to the pump
and lost income while the pump was down. This office approves
the settlement of their claim in the amount of $1 ,010 .00 .
