RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the Council of the City of Saint Paul
hereby extends the thanks of the City of Saint Paul citizens to
the Saint Paul Police Reservists and the Neighborhood Assistance
Officers for their outstanding performance of Wednesday, March 17,
1982.
Their responsible, efficient, friendly monitoring of the
St. Patrick' s Day celebration made it another fun, successful day.
Added thanks to the two groups must be given for their help at
the unexpected fire at the Halper Building in the evening. For
many, it was a 10-15 hour day. These volunteers, whose commitment
to making our city a safe city, deserve the highest commendation.
