RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a release in full
to the City, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, the
proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay
out of the Tort Liability Fund 09070-511-000 , to:
l. Mary T. Cook the sum of $300 .00 in full settlement of her
claim of damages sustained on or about April 27, 1982 , as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in
the City Clerk's office on July 22 , 1982 .
2 . State Farm Insurance and Dana E. Johnson the sum of $290 .75
in full settlement of their claim of damages sustained on
or About January 2 , 1982 , as more particularly set out in the
Notice of Claim filed in the City Clerk 's office on February 3,
1982 .
3 . William K. Jefferson the sum of $900 .00 in full settlement of
his claim of damages su'stained on or about October l, 1981,
as more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in
the City Clerk 's office on November 25, 1981.

M E M O R A N D U M
CLAIMS AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY MARY T. COOK; STATE FARM INSURANCE
AND DANA E. JOHNSON; and WILLIAI!� K. JEFFERSON
On April 27 , 1982 , claimant, Mary Cook, tripped and fell on a
raise in a City of Saint Paul sidewalk on Chatsworth near Randolph.
Mrs . Cook fell and injured herself and was hospitalized and treated.
The amount of $300 .00 was a settlement ot Mrs. Cook for her injuries
sustained in that fall .
On either January 2 or January 3, 1982 , claimant, Dane E. Johnson,
was driving his car on I-94 under the Pellum Street overpass when
a City of Saint Paul, Department of Public Works , snow plow pushed
snow and ice over the edge of the bridge. This snow and ice hit
Mr. Johnson's car and damaged the hood and grill. Mr. Johnson is
insured by State Farm Insurance . This office approves the compromise
settlement of their claim in the amount of $290 .75 .
On October l , 1981, William K. Jefferson's (claimant) automobile
was towed to the City of Saint Paul, Department of Police, Impound
Lot. While at the impount 1ot various items were stolen from
Mr. Jefferson's vehicle. A compromise settlement of $900 .00 has
been reached for the replacement of the stolen items . This office
approves the settlement of Mr. Jefferson 's claim in the amount of
$900 .00 .
