In the Matter of improving both sides of SELBY AVEN�E between Arundel Street
and Virginia Street, East side of ARUNDEL STREET between Selby Avenue andr
190 feet south to alley and both sides of WESTERN AVENUE from Dayton
Avenue south to approximately 130 feet south of Selby Avenue. Improvement
include widening of pedestrian walk areas & incorporation of a four-foot
planted boulevard area along Selby Ave. Said boulevard will incorporate
deciduous overstory plantings with turf at grade, new curb, gutter and st
sewer connections and additional street/pedestrian area lighting. Selby A .
between Virginia Street on the east and Arundel Street on the west will
typically be constructed as described above. Western Avenue will general�'
have new sidewalks, curb planters, and street/pedestrian lighting in an `
alignment consistant with the existing dimensions, with the exception of e
west side of Western Avenue south of Selby Avenue, which will be expanded pprox-
imately six feet to allow for the private develo�ent of area light wells o
the lower level of the Angus Hotel (Blair House/Albion Market).
All areas will receive new walks, entry drives, plantings, lighting, curb e d
gutter, etc. , with provisions at certain points for improved bus stop area
and passenger drop-off aress, all to be known as the SELBY AVENUE PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT.

having considered said report, hereby resolves:
