ASSESSMENr RATES:
Residential rates: (Single Family to Three Family)
New construction (where no walk existed) $12.00* per front foot.
Replacement of old walk--$6.00* per front foot.
Com�ercial rates: (All property other than residential)
100� of actual cost estimated to be approximately $3.00 per square foot
of walk constructed with integral curb. Without inte�ral curb the cost
is estimated to be $2.20 per square foot of walk constructed.
*Please note that Residential rates ere based on the eonstruction of a 5-foot
wide sidewalk; all extra width sidewalks will be prorated accordingly.

The Council of the City of Saint Paul having received the report of the Mayor upon the above improvement, and
having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof
is $ See above for assessment rates.
2. That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 22nd day of�'ebruar}�, 1983, at
10:00 o'clock a.m.,in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court House Building in the City of Saint Paul.
3. That notice of said public hearing be given to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the
time and place of hearing,the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
