PARISEAU AND RONALD A. FURCHNER Claimant, Target Stores , Inc. , requests reimbursement for a video tape recorder which was mistakenly auctioned off by the Saint Paul Police Department. The recorder was in the possession of the Saint Paul Police as a result of a theft at the Target 5tores . The value of the recorder is $570 .34 . The recorder was sold at auction for $350 .00 . The Saint Paul Police Department will issue a check to Target Stores, Inc. in that amount and the balance, $220 .34 , will be paid out of the Tort Liability Fund. This office approves the settlement of the Target Stores , Inc. claim. On September 24 , 1982 , a Saint Paul Police vehicle, driven by Officer William Snyder, was traveling on Mendota Street near Sixth Street. A vehicle turned from the alley into Officer Snyder's path and he had to take evasive action and as a result struck a parked vehicle owned by claimant, James Pariseau. Mr. Pariseau's vehicle was damaged to the extent of $325 .00 and this office settled with Mr. Pariseau for $137 .50 . On November 9 , 1982 , a Saint Paul Police vehicle, driven by Officer John Morrow, was traveling on White Bear Avenue near Burns on a call. Our vehicle skidded on the wet pavement and struck claimant, Ronald Furchner 's , vehicle which was stopped for the stop sign at Burns Avenue. Mr. Furchner's vehicle was damaged in the amount of $409 .00 . This office approves the settlement of Mr. Furchner's claim in the amount of $409 .00 . ��-�,��;,`��
