RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a release in full
to the City, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, the
proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay
out of the Tort Liability Fund 09070-511-000 , to:
l. Michael Gavin the sum of $201.39 in full settlement of his
claim of damages sustained on or about December 29 , 1982 , as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in
th.e City Clerk's office on January 6 , 1983 .
2 . L. J. Haselberger the sum of $80 .00 in full settlement of
his claim of damages sustained on or about November 4 , 1982 ,
as more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed
in the City Clerk 's office on January 13 , 1983.
3. Kevin McCutcheon the sum of $180 .98 in full settlement of
his claim of damages sustained on or about February 3, 1983,
as more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in
the City Clerk 's office on February 22 , 1983 .
4 . Daniel Skaja the sum of $325.00 in full settlement of his
claim of damages sustained on or about November l, 1982 , as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in
the City Clerk 's office on January 11, 1983 .

M E M O R A N D U M
CLAIMS AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL BY
MICHAEL GAVIN; L. J. HASELBERGER;
KEVIN McCUTCHEON; and DANIEL SKAJA
On December 29 , 1982 , a City of Saint Paul snow plow struck the
side of a parked vehicle owned by claimant, Michael Gavin. The
amount of damages as a result of this accident was $201.39 . This
office approves the settlement of Mr. Gavin's claim in the amount
of $201. 39 .
On November 4, 1982 , a Saint Paul Forestry crew was topping a
tree in front of 1398 Laurel Avenue. A tree limb fell and hit a
fence at 1398 Laurel which was owned by claimant, L. J. Haselberger.
The amount of damage done was $80 .00 . This office approves the
settlement of Mr. Haselberger's claim in the amount of $80 .00 .
On February 3 , 1983, a City of Saint Paul snow plow, driven by
Leo 5eivert backed from East Belvidere Street onto Harvard Street.
Claimant, Kevin McCutcheon, was driving his vehicle on Harvard
when our vehicle backed into him. Mr. McCutcheon's vehicle was
damaged in the amount of $180 .98 . This office approves the settle-
ment of Mr. McCutcheon's claim in the amount of $180 .98 .
On November 1 , 1982 , a City of Saint Paul Forestry crew was cutting
a tree down at 1815 Bayard. The tree was rotten and broke off and
struck the roof of the garage at 1815 Bayard. The damage to the
garage owned by claimant, Daniel 5kaja, was $325 .00 . This office
approves the settlement of Mr. Skaja 's claim in the amount of $325.00 .
