00-339ORIGINAL Council File # BO � GreenSheet# �a�� RESOLUTION CITY OF` SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA Presented By Refened To Committee: Date i 1 An Administrative Resolution amending the Salary Plan and Rates 2 of Compensation Vacation section by increasing the deadline for 3 using additional vacation time carried over into the year 2000 for � accrued vacation time in 1999 and have had to carry over into the yeaz 2000 such time in excess of the normally allowed one hundred twenty hours; and 6 WHEREAS, because of Y2K preparation and criminal case management system 7 priorities, certain employees of the City Attorney's Office have been unable to use all hours of 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 designated employees of the City Attorney's Office. WHEREAS, paragraph three of Section LH. entitled VACATION, of the Salary Plan and Rates of Compensation states, "The head of the department may pernut an employee to carry over into the following year up to one hundred and twenty hours, or in the Fire Service the number of hours worked for three weeks. ff for emergency reasons the department head determines that additional cany over is necessary for an employee, then the employee shall ask the Director Of Human Resources to allow that additional time be carried over.
