RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a release in full
to the City, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, the
proper City officers are hereby authroized and directed to pay
out of the Tort Liability Fund 09070-511-000 , to:
l. John M. McKenna the sum of $72.24 in full settlement of his
claim of damages sustained on or about November 13 , 1982 , as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in the
City Clerk 's office on December 7 , 1982.
2 . Sarah M. Casey the sum of $320 .00 in full settlement of her
claim of damages sustained on or about November 11, 1982 , as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in the
City Clerk 's office on December 3, 1982 .
3. Lucille A. LaBore the sum of $45.00 in full settlement of her
claim of damages sustained on or about November 10 , 1982, as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in the
City Clerk's office on November 18, 1982.
4 . Bryan Lindberg the sum of $191.19 in full settlement of his
claim of damages sustained on or about January 26 , 1983 , as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in the
City Clerk 's office on February 1, 1983.
5. James Taube the sum of $150 .00 in full settlement of his claim
of damages sustained on or about December 26 , 1982 , as more
particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in the City
Clerk's office on January 11, 1983 .

M E M O R A N D U M
CLAIMS AGAINST CITY OF 5AINT PAUL BY
JOHN M. McKENNA, SARAH M. CASEY,
LUCILLE A. LaBORE, BRYAN LINDBERG,
and JAMES TAUBE
On November 13 , 1982 , the City of Saint Paul, Department of
Community Services, Zoo van #144 , driven by City employee John
McKenna, slid on ice and snow and then struck a parked 1981
Mercury Lynz. This car is owned by James Hauge, a City employee.
The only damage which resulted from this accident was a broken
grille on the Mercury. Pursuant to the approval of the City
Attorney 's office, Mr. McKenna bought a new grille with his own
funds and installed it himself. This resulted in a savings to
the City. Although Mr. Hauge presented the claim, the amount
of $72. 24 should be paid to Mr. McKenna. Mr. Hauge agreed to the
above mentioned arrangement.
On November 11, 1982, claimant, Sarah M. Casey , tripped and fell
on a City of Saint Paul sidewalk on Minnesota Street, between
Fifth and Sixth Streets. She tripped on a precipice in the City
sidewalk and fell and injured herself. She incurred medical ex-
penses in the amount of $320 .00 as a result of her fall. This
office approves the settlement of Ms . Casey 's claim in the amount
of $320 .00 .
On November 10 , 1982 , avehicle owned by claimant, Lucille LaBore,
was parked on 5heldon near Hoyt in Saint Paul. A City of Saint Paul,
Department of Public Works, street sweeper and truck were clearing
the street of debris. Our vehicle splashed debris on Ms . Labore's
vehicle which caused its outside mirror to break. The amount of
her damages were $90 .00 and we settled her claim for $45.00 . This
office approves the settlement of Ms . LaBore 's claim in the amount
of $45.00 .

Claimant, Bryan Lindberg, was involved in an automobile accident
with a City of 5aint Paul, Department of Police, vehicle driven
by Bruce J. Wynkoop on January 26 , 1983 near Chatsworth and
Portland. Officer Wynkoop slid on the icy street while executing
a turn and slid into Mr. Lindberg's vehiCle. Expenses are for
the damaged vehicle. This office approves the settlement of
Mr. Lindberg's claim in the amount of $191. 19 .
On December 26 , 1982, a vehicle owned by claimant, James Taube,
was parked on York near Payne Avenue. A City of Saint Paul,
Department of Police, vehicle driven by Jeffrey Stewart went out
ofcontrol on the icy street and struck Mr. Taube's vehicle. His
vehicle was damaged and totaled out in the amount of $150 .00 .
This office approves the settlement of Mr. Taube's claim in the
amount of $150 .00 .
