RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a release in full
to the City, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney , the
proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay
out of the Tort Liability Fund 09070-511-000 , to:
l . Jody Klemmensen the sum of $234 .28 in full settlement of her
claim of damages sustained on or about November 18 , 1982 , as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in the
City Clerk's office on December 21, 1982 .
2 . Michael Longbehn the sum of $32 .50 in full settlement of his
claim of damages sustained on or about November 25, 1982 , as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in the
City Cl.erk 's office on January 11 , 1983.
3. F. W. Woolworth #62 the sum of $1,183. 80 in full settlement
of its claim of damages sustained on or about January 4 , 1983
as more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in
the City Clerk's office on January 13, 1983.
4. Eric C. Anderson the sum of $25Q .00 in full settlement of his
claim of damages sustained on or about September 22, 1982 ,
as more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in
the City Clerk 's office on January 27 , 1983.
5. Richard W. Wagner the sum of $85.00 in full settlement of his
claim of damages sustained on or about January 9 , 1983 , as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in
the City Clerk's office on January 18, 1983 .

M E M 0 R A N D U M
CLAIMS AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY JODY KLEMMENSEN, MICHAEL LONGBEHN,
F. W. WOOLWORTH #62 , ERIC C. ANDERSON,
AND RICHARD W. WAGNER
Claimant, Jody Klemmensen, was involved in an automobile accident
with a City of Saint Paul, Department of Public Works , vehicle on
November 18 , 1982. The driver of the City vehicle was Harold J.
Volness . Expenses are for the repair of the damages to Ms . Klemmensen' s
vehicle. This office approves settlement of Ms . Klemmensen's claim
in the amount of $234 . 28 .
On November 25, 1982 , a vehicle driven and owned by claimant, Michael
Longbehn, was damaged by a City of Saint Paul manhole cover. The
cover was loose and struck the underbody of Mr. Longbehn's vehicle
and damaged it in the amount of $32 .50 . Mr. Longbehn was using his
vehicle while volunteering his services to the Saint Paul Police
Department. This office approves the settlement of Mr. Longbehn's
claim in the amount of $32 . 50 .
Claimant, F. W. Woolworth #62 , requests reimbursement for damages
to two of its plate glass store windows . The windows were damage
on January 4 , 1983 by Glenn Thomas Brown who was driving a snow
plow owned by the City of Saint Paul, Department of Public Works .
Mr. Brown was plowing the sidewalk in front of Woolworth 's and hit
a directional sign. The sign fell into the plate glass windows
of the store. This office approves the settlement of F. W. Woolworth 's
claim in the amount of $1,183. 80 .
Claimant, Eric C. Anderson, requests reimbursement for damages to
his automobile which occurred on September 22 , 1982. Mr. Anderson
is a police officer for the City of Saint Paul and had parked his
vehicle in the designated parking area for the west sector team
house. When Mr. Anderson finished his tour of duty , he noticed the
damage to his parked vehicle. The color of the paint scrapes on
Mr. Anderson's car match the color of the squad cars. This office
approves the settlement of Mr. Anderson's claim in the amount of
$250 .00 .

Claimant, Richard W. Wagner, requests reimbursement for property
damage and maintenance repairs to his property caused by a sewer
back-up at 857-859 Agate. Upon checking with the Department of
Public Works , Sewer Maintenance Division, City of Saint Paul, it
was found that there was a sewer blockage at that time and loca-
tion. Mr�: Erickson, Sewer Maintenance Engineer, feels that
Mr. Wagner's request for reimbursement is more than reasonable and
this office concurs with that opinion. This office approves the
settlement of Mr. Wagner's claim in the amount of $85.00 .
