The Council of the City of Saint Paul has conducted a public hearing upon the above improvement, due notice
thereof having been given as prescribed by the City Charter; and
WHEREAS, The Council has heard all persons, objections and recommendations pertaining to said proposed improve-
ment and has fully considered the same; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby order that the above-described improvement
be made, and the proper City of�cers are hereby directed and authorized to proceed with the improvement; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That upon the completion of said improvement, the proper City officers shall calculate
all expenses incurred therein and shall report the same to the City Council in accordance with Chapter 14 of the City Charter.

unanimo�sly recommended approval of all of the following items :

3 1 83 FINAL ORDER: To decide on the grading �, paving oF alley in
Blk. 2, Clifton Dale from Dunlap St. to Lexington Pkwy.
�(bounded by tiV.-California, Lexington Pkwy. , titi'. Idaho �, Dunlap
Street) . Also, slope construction in the above mentioned alley.
3. 3/1/83 FINAL ORDER: To decide on the improvement of SELBY AVEVUE
from Victoria St. to Arundel St. and from Virginia St. to
Summit Ave.by constructing a bituminous overlay. Also, iMprov-
. ing SELBY AVENUE from Arundel St. To Virginia St. by con-
structing curb and� gutter, concrete driveways, sideiaa�ks and
constructing a bituminous pavement � doing all other work
necessary to complete said prcject. '
4. 3/1/83 FINAL ORDER: To decide on whether to proceed with the RAILRO:�D
ISLAND STORM SEtiYER PROJECT in the following streets : r4INNEHAH�
AVENUE from Payne Ave. to Burr; PREBLE ST. from A4innehaha Ave.
to BEAUMONT SUBWAY from Beaumont Street to the existinb Phalen
Creek Sewer; in TEDESCO ST. from Burr St. to the existing
sewer in Lafayette Rd. ; in PAYNE AVE. from Hopkins St. to
Sixth St. ; in an easement from SIXTH ST. to the existing
Phalen Creek Sewer.
5. 3/1/83 FINAL ORDER: to decide on whether to proceed �uith .the RAILROAD
ISLAND STREET iMPROVEb1ENT PROJECT in conjunctian with the set�er
project by alleviating the sharp �curve at Lafayette Road, re-
surfacing, constructing concrete curb and gutters, drive�aays
where needed and an ornamental street lighting system in the
area bounded by l�7innehaha, Railroad tracks on the East., E. 7th
St. ,Railroad tracks on the Southwest, Lafayette Rd. � Desoto St.
6. 3/1/83 FINAL ORDER: To decide on whether to proceed with the con-
struction and/or reconstruction of side�aalks in PAYNE AVENUE
from E. 7th. Street to Hopkins and PAYNE AVENUE from Edgerton
to Minnehaha. �
