AMENDING THE 1982 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET
TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR SIGNAL REVISIONS ON
SOUTH LEXINGTON PARKWAY.
BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Saint Paul , upon recommenda-
tion of the Mayor and advice of the Long-Range Capital Improvement Budget
Committee, that the 1982 Capital Improvement Budget, as heretofore adopted
and amended by this Council, is hereby further amended in the following
p articulars:
A. Change of Project Funds
That the construction cost for the Lexington Pkwy. reconstruction from
University Ave. to the Burlington Bridge are well under the original
estimate and that some of the excess funds be transferred to fund
the reconstruction of the traffic signals at Lexington Pkwy. and at
St. Clair; Lexington Pkwy. and Jefferson Ave. and at Lexington Pkwy.
and Randolph Ave. This signal revision is justified on a safety
basis.
