WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul has resolved in Council
File No. 2�1059 to notify Regfon V, United States Department of Health and
Human Services of its intention to transfer all interests in the Model Cities Health
Project, Urban Health Initiative Program, grant number 05 H 000904 04, to the suc-
cessor organization, Model Cities Health Center, Inc., at the earliest possible date; and
WHEREAS, the Model Cities Health Center, Inc., has indfcated a need to employ
a consultant to develop a time schedule, expedite and plan for the assumption of full
authority and responsibility, including, but not limited to, a plan for personnel man-
agement, procurement, transfer of title of equipment, and change of grantee in all
existing grants, contracts, and leases;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Counci I hereby authorize the
proper City Officials to prepare and execute an agreement between the City and Model
Cities Health Center, Inc., providing an amount not to exceed $10,000 for the purpose.
